About

Artist & Scientist

ALAgrApHY is a Paris-based cosmopolitan artist (photographer, painter, filmmaker, data artist) and scientist (PhD in Complex Systems, AI expert and Data Scientist) who has been teaching machines art and creativity since 2011.

He exhibited one of the first AI-generated artworks at the Grand Palais in February 2018, comprising the Children of the Cloud — thousands of AI-generated faces generated since 2016 using Generative Adversarial Networks trained on his 1001 Faces project.

His artwork Dame Souriante d'âmes souriantes (2017) received the digital art award at the Salon d'Automne at the Champs-Élysées. He is Artist and Scientist in Residence at 59 Rivoli and isc-pif. His permanent street art installation stands 10×1.4m in a Parisian park in honour of healthcare workers.
